What is West Pokot known for?
Rugged north-western highland county, the "Land of Hidden Treasures": the Cherangani Hills and Mount Mtelo, Turkwel Gorge and Dam, Marich Pass, Tartar Falls, Nasolot National Reserve and strong Pokot culture (with a November cultural festival). Kapenguria is also where the Kapenguria Six were tried.
